A new Kickstarter campaign offers tabletop RPG enthusiasts a deep dive into the Lovecraftian world of Kadathport.
A Multi-Dimensional Experience
Designed as a system-neutral module, Rise of the Eldritch aims to be compatible with any fantasy TTRPG system. The Kickstarter package includes a plethora of downloadable content such as printable and Virtual Tabletop (VTT) battle maps, 2D miniatures and tokens, and a robust adventure guidebook that brims with lore, hooks, quests, and much more.
A Journey to Kadathport
The core adventure takes players to the disturbed port town of Kadathport, clouded in eldritch mysteries. Players will encounter lunatic cultists, aquatic Deep Ones, and other unimaginable horrors as they navigate the crooked streets and uncover shadowy secrets. The guidebook details:
- Kadathport Overview: Information on population, government, and commerce.
- 20+ Significant Locations: With read-aloud text descriptions for Game Masters.
- 20+ Notable NPCs: Also with read-aloud text descriptions.
- 10+ Notable Organizations: Further enriching the setting.
- 100+ Random Encounters: To keep adventurers on their toes.
- Various Quests and Riddles: Including three main quest outlines featuring Cthulhu, Dagon, and the King in Yellow.
Immersive Battle Maps and Tokens
The campaign promises more than 40 battle maps (80 with stretch goals!) to bring the world of Kadathport to life. All maps come in gridded and ungridded versions, suitable for printing or VTT platforms like Roll20 and Foundry VTT.
Additionally, backers will get access to over 25 unique printable minis and VTT tokens, featuring iconic Lovecraftian entities such as Cthulhu, Azathoth, and Dagon.
