ByDaniel Kling Lorentsen

KessCo has announced a licensing agreement with Toei Animation to create a new line of products based on the beloved anime series One Piece and Digimon. This partnership comes as both franchises celebrate their 25th anniversaries, with plans to launch tabletop games and outdoor toys designed for release between 2024 and 2025.

The collaboration will see KessCo, a company recognized for its innovative approach to the toy industry since its foundation in 2016, expanding its product range to include licensed merchandise. The upcoming products are expected to encompass both active play in outdoor settings and engaging strategic gameplay in tabletop formats.

Toei Animation, the studio behind One Piece and Digimon, has expressed its support for the partnership as a means to offer fans new ways to interact with their favorite franchises. The initiative is seen as a bridge between the narratives of One Piece and Digimon and the physical play experiences offered by KessCo’s product line.
