Japanime Games Set to Release QUEERZ! on May 1st
Japanime Games is gearing up for the launch of their latest board game, QUEERZ!, scheduled to ship on May 1st. This game introduces players to a magical world where emotions wield power and empathy reigns supreme.
In QUEERZ!, participants take on the roles of characters known as “Queerz,” individuals who possess magical abilities sourced from the Rainbow Empathy. This force represents humanity’s best qualities—compassion, joy, and wisdom—and empowers players to inspire others through their characters’ personal passions, known in the game as their “Runway.”
The narrative of the game brings the Queerz face-to-face with the Justice Knights, a group of antagonists fueled by the Ignorance Core, a substance born from negative emotions and restricted worldviews. These villains seek to enforce a distorted sense of order, challenging players to use their empathetic powers to transform and redeem them.
The Basic Box of QUEERZ! provides all the necessary components for players to immediately immerse themselves in the game. It includes guides for both players and game masters, pre-made characters for quick start, custom dice that enhance the gameplay, and a creator guide alongside an anthology of adventures to help guide new narratives.
