R. Talsorian Games, in partnership with CD Projekt Red, has revealed that the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit is currently at the printers and will be available soon. The kit serves dual purposes as a standalone product and as a starter set for the Cyberpunk RED tabletop game, while incorporating aspects of the Cyberpunk 2077 era.
The Mission Kit comes equipped with a range of components designed to enhance the gameplay experience. It contains three books with a total of 120 pages that delve into the lore and mechanics of the game, along with pre-generated characters and themed accessories such as dice, maps, and standees. This setup is crafted to accommodate both new players and those familiar with the Cyberpunk RED game system.
The kit incorporates new rules that mesh with the Cyberpunk RED ruleset, adding depth and variety to the gameplay. It includes detailed backgrounds about Night City and the Edgerunners crew, spanning from the Red Decades to the 2070s, curated with insights from Mike Pondsmith. The package also introduces new cyberware and weapon categories, enriching the player’s arsenal and strategic options.
Included in the kit is “The Jacket” mission, which sets players in the aftermath of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series. This mission is designed to immerse players in the narrative world, offering multiple endings based on player decisions, illustrating the consequences of their choices within the game.
The mission kit is scheduled for release in mid to late June, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit will be priced at $35.00 USD.
