Free League Publishing Announces “Path of Glory” Campaign for Dragonbane RPG

Free League Publishing has recently unveiled “Path of Glory,” a new adventure campaign for the Dragonbane RPG, which is also now available on the Alchemy Virtual Tabletop (VTT). This campaign reintroduces a classic adventure set in the legendary Dead Forest, a place cursed by ancient forces and rich with potential treasures and secrets.

“Path of Glory” leads players on a journey through the mystical landscape of the Dead Forest, into the caverns beneath the mountains, and across new, uncharted territories. Throughout their adventure, players will encounter an ancient conflict that threatens the very essence of their world.

Originally released in the mid-1980s as three separate installments— “The Dead Forest,” “Gates of Power,” and “Heart of Darkness,” this campaign has been consolidated into a single volume for this new release. The campaign has been updated and reimagined by original author Roger Undhagen, with fresh illustrations by David Brasgalla and new cover art by Johan Egerkrans.

The new edition is a full-color, hardback volume that updates the original rules to fit the latest version of Dragonbane. It includes a large, double-sided map created by Francesca Baerald, measuring 432x558mm.

“Path of Glory” is currently available for pre-order through the Free League webshop. It comes in two editions: a Standard Edition and a Collector’s Edition, which features a faux leather cover adorned with gold foil printing. Pre-orders will provide early access to the complete PDF of the book in June, well ahead of the general retail release planned for the fall.

Additionally, Free League is offering a promotional 20% discount on the Dragonbane Core Set in their webshop for a limited time.
