Modiphius Entertainment announced today that pre-orders for its new Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 starter set are now available. The game, which mixes elements of pulp adventure and occult horror, is scheduled to begin shipping in April 2024.
The Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 starter set introduces players to a world where a group of heroes battles against occult forces and the mythos entities that control them. This entry-level package aims to provide an engaging experience through a mix of adventure, exploration, and combat against a variety of adversaries, including cultists, mad scientists, and otherworldly beings.
Included in the starter set is a 60-page adventure spread across three acts, taking players from Dunkirk to an alien hive city. It comes with six pre-generated characters to expedite gameplay initiation, alongside six detailed maps and over 100 tokens for managing battles and encounters.
A unique aspect of the set is the Limited Edition Elder Sign Dice Set, comprising two 2d20 dice and four challenge dice, enhancing the game’s thematic elements.
