Free League Publishing has announced the launch of Case File 02: Fiery Angels, the first official expansion for the Blade Runner The Roleplaying Game, scheduled for release on April 2nd. This addition builds on the success of the award-winning game, introducing a new investigation that promises to engage players with its complex narrative and challenges.
The storyline begins with the Blade Runners tasked with interrogating a suspect apprehended for attempting to access the Wallace Corporation Memory Vaults. This encounter leads the team on an investigation that delves into the advancements and ethical considerations of Replicant technology. Players will navigate through various challenges that test their physical, mental, and ethical capacities.
Case File 02: Fiery Angels is designed as a standalone adventure but also incorporates elements from Case File 01: Electric Dreams, ensuring a cohesive and enriched narrative experience. In keeping with the high-quality presentation of its predecessor, the expansion features a range of in-game materials, including handouts, photos, maps, and more, to support the immersive investigative scenario.
The development of this adventure is a collaborative effort between Tomas Härenstam and Joe LeFavi, the lead designers of the Blade Runner RPG, with artwork provided by Martin Grip, David Brasgalla, and Eelco Sebring.
