BKOM Studios, an award-winning video game developer based in Quebec City, has partnered with Paizo, a leading hobby games publisher, to bring two Pathfinder video game projects to the market. Paizo is known for publishing the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and the science-fantasy roleplaying game, Starfinder.
The first game is set to launch on Steam later this year, with the second project still in the early stages of development. Details about both games will be revealed soon.
Frederic Martin, CEO of BKOM Studios, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We absolutely love role-playing games, and already were fans of the Pathfinder brand. In Paizo, we found the ideal partner with whom to collaborate to materialize a common vision.”
Mark Moreland, Director of Brand Strategy at Paizo, echoed the sentiment, saying, “We can’t wait to expand the Pathfinder brand into new digital spaces with them.”
BKOM Studios has a proven track record of developing successful video games such as “Sunday Gold,” “Overloot,” and “Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation.” The company’s CEO, Frederic Martin, has also expressed excitement about the collaboration with Paizo, noting that the upcoming titles are perfectly aligned with BKOM’s vision to bring unique and meaningful gaming experiences on PC and consoles.
