Ummaramma Announces New Board Game “Speculaas” by Danijel Pošta

New board game publisher Ummaramma has announced its first card game, Speculaas, designed by Danijel Pošta. The game is a family-friendly card drafting and set collection game for 1-5 players, centered around the theme of baking traditional speculaas cookies.

In Speculaas, players compete to create the best batch of cookies by selecting and pairing recipe and spice cards. The game features simultaneous card drafting, where players choose cards and pass the remaining ones to the next player. The goal is to combine spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and other ingredients with the recipes to score the most points.

The game is designed for ages 10 and up and has a playtime of approximately 20 minutes. It includes 140 cards, honey tokens, a scorepad, rulebooks in both English and Croatian, player aids, and recipe cards for making real speculaas cookies.
