Pandasaurus Games is set to release District Noir, a strategic two-player card game, on July 19th. Pre-orders start on May 19th The game was designed by Nobutake Dogen and Nao Shimamura, with illustrations by Przemysław Fornal, Vincent Roché, and Hinami Tsukuda.

District Noir is a highly competitive game that challenges players to gain control of territories and win support from criminal organizations in the contested District Noir area. Players can achieve victory through two paths: winning over District Noir’s various supporters or directly controlling the city’s three strategic locations.

The game mechanics include hand management, open drafting, and set collection, providing a simple yet challenging game that requires strategic thinking. Players must time their moves carefully, as they can only take the first five cards in the line once per round.

At the end of the game, players will earn points for having the majority of each supporter and collecting sets of them. However, if one player claims all three locations before the end of the game, they will immediately win.
