CMON Announces Pre-Order for New ‘Desert War’ Expansion of Dune: War for Arrakis
CMON has announced the upcoming pre-order campaign for the new expansion, Desert War, for the tabletop game Dune: War for Arrakis. The pre-order is set to launch on Gamefound, providing both new and returning backers the opportunity to acquire the latest expansion as well as select items from the original campaign, now available in multiple language options for the first time.
The expansion, designed by Francesco Nepitello and Marco Maggi, introduces new units for the Harkonnen and Atreides factions, adding depth to the strategic gameplay set on the desert planet of Dune. Desert War will be available in English, German, and French, aligning with CMON’s goal to make the game accessible to a broader audience.
Additionally, the campaign offers fans a chance to purchase previously released items, including the Exclusive Edition core box, the Smugglers expansion, the playmat, plastic tokens, and a new box containing only the stretch goals from the original campaign. While the Exclusive Edition core box will be available only in English, the other items will also be offered in German and French for the first time.
Interested parties should watch for the pre-order launch on Gamefound as CMON continues to expand the Dune: War for Arrakis game series.
