“New Forge World Pre-orders Revealed: A Ruthless Tank Commander and the Smartest Troll in Blood Bowl

Games Workshop has announced this week’s Forge World pre-orders, featuring a merciless tank commander for Horus Heresy and a cunning troll for Blood Bowl.

First up is the Decurion Lanius from Sons of Horus, one of the new additions in the “Siege of Cthonia” supplement for Horus Heresy. This unforgiving tank commander was borne out of the Warmaster’s demand for relentless loyalty and is notorious for turning his guns on his own subordinates to maintain discipline. The Lanius resin miniature can be mounted on a Predator, Sicaran, Sicaran Punisher, or Kratos tank, is armed with a banestrike bolt cannon, and comes with a choice of two heads.

Also making his debut this week is Ripper Bolgrot, hailed as the most intelligent troll to have ever graced the Blood Bowl pitch. While physical prowess typically takes precedence in Blood Bowl, having a bit of brains doesn’t hurt, and Bolgrot certainly has more than a bit. This towering troll is a prime recruit for teams competing in the Badland Brawl and Underworld Challenge categories. The Bolgrot resin miniature includes rules, so players can field him immediately upon acquisition.
