Modiphius Entertainment Announces New Dune RPG Campaign Book to Coincide with Movie Release

In an announcement for Dune fans and roleplayers, Modiphius Entertainment has revealed the upcoming release of “Dune: Fall of the Imperium,” a new campaign book for the Dune: Adventures in the Imperium roleplaying game. This release is perfectly timed to coincide with the much-anticipated cinema release of “Dune: Part 2” on March 1st. The RPG campaign book is set to be available worldwide from March 15th and is currently open for pre-orders on Modiphius’ webstores.

Immersive Roleplaying in the Dune Universe

“Dune: Fall of the Imperium” offers an epic campaign that runs parallel to the events of the new “Dune” movie and draws inspiration from Frank Herbert’s iconic novel. This campaign book promises to immerse players and Game Masters (GMs) in the rich and intricate world of Dune, allowing them to insert their characters into the film’s storyline and influence the unfolding events in the Imperium.

Epic Campaigns and Adventures Await

The 144-page hardcover book is not just a supplement but a gateway into the heart of the Dune saga. It encompasses four acts, each containing three full adventures, additional story seeds, and expansion advice. The campaign stretches from the Imperium Era to the Ascension of Muad’Dib, providing detailed information on the Qizarate as a new faction and the state of the Known Universe after Paul Atreides ascends to the throne.

Key Campaign Highlights:

1. Act I – The Gathering Storm: Players will navigate through a web of vendettas as House Atreides takes control of Arrakis, uncovering deeper plots and culminating in a fierce conflict on the desert planet.
2. Act II – Muad’Dib: With whispers of a new Fremen leader uniting the tribes, players are plunged into a mission that shakes the very foundations of the Imperium.
3. Act III – Fall of the Imperium: In the chaos of halted spice production, players must secure their own spice supply while navigating old feuds and a decisive showdown with the Fremen and Paul Muad’Dib.
4. Act IV – War Across a Million Worlds: The new era under Emperor Paul Atreides brings a tumult of plots and revolutions, challenging players to choose their allegiance and influence the course of the Jihad.

Agents of Dune Deluxe Starter Set

In addition to the campaign book, Modiphius is also releasing the “Agents of Dune Deluxe Starter Set.” This set acts as a comprehensive introduction to the Dune: Adventures in the Imperium roleplaying game, offering an alternate scenario where players govern Arrakis. The box includes a complete adventure guide, character folios, NPC and asset decks, a spice harvesting system, maps, tokens, custom dice, and a free digital copy of the Dune: Adventures in the Imperium Core Rulebook.

Fans can pre-order now to dive into the tumultuous times of the Imperium, influence the rise of Muad’Dib, and decide the fate of their Houses in the universe of Dune.
