This collaboration builds on the success of their previous joint venture, Firefly The Game: 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition, which garnered over $3.5 million from enthusiastic backers.
The partnership aims to further explore the potential of GF9’s intellectual properties by introducing new thematic gaming experiences. The Firefly project’s success demonstrated the strong community support for GF9’s approach to game development, emphasizing quality and thematic depth.
The upcoming projects include:
- The Adventures of Conan (April 2024): An adventure game for 2-4 players, set in the mystical kingdoms of Hyboria, promising a unique asymmetrical dice gameplay experience.
- Star Trek Ascendancy: Final Frontier (Late 2024): A collector’s edition of the popular Star Trek Ascendancy series, including all seven expansions, offering an expansive exploration of the Star Trek universe.
- Dune: Kwisatz Haderach (Early 2025): A game that immerses players in the politics and intrigue of the Dune universe, accompanied by all three expansions.
