Friday Snippets
Frrrridaaaaay! I hope your week went by well. Mine had its ups and downs, but, as usual, I’m looking forward to the weekend. And, though, it’s 2 weeks from now that I’m most-excited about, any weekend can be a good weekend. I haven’t figured out what I want to do, culinarily yet, but I’ll figure it out. In the meantime, let’s nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories. Today on the platter we have:
Blood Moon Dice Available From Kraken Dice
The Blood Moon brings cause destruction and mayhem.
Welcome to the realm of CircuitDice, where adventure meets sustainability! We invite you to join us on a Kickstarter campaign that combines the excitement of tabletop gaming with a powerful message about the growing issue of e-waste and its impact on our planet. Together, let’s roll the dice for a greener future!
In a world burdened by the consequences of electronic waste, a group of passionate environmentalists and gaming enthusiasts came together with a groundbreaking idea. They saw an opportunity to repurpose discarded circuit boards into unique and eco-friendly DnD dice. By doing so, they aimed to shed light on the global e-waste crisis and inspire change through gaming.
The CircuitDice team embarked on a quest to collect electronic waste from recycling centers and salvage yards, rescuing circuit boards destined for landfill doom. Through meticulous craftsmanship, these discarded treasures were transformed into one-of-a-kind DnD dice, their metallic circuits lending an otherworldly charm to each roll. By using recycled materials, we aim to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills and contribute to a circular economy.
