Tales from Myriad, a new fantasy tabletop-roleplaying game, is now on Kickstarter, having raised over $14,000 so far. The game, which has 28 days left in its campaign, was fully funded in just eight hours after launching with an initial goal of $10,000.

Designed for both new and experienced players, Tales from Myriad is a lighthearted and flexible adventure system that focuses on quick character creation and exploration. The game features new fantasy races, jobs, and charts for items, allowing players to create colorful and unique characters with killer wardrobes.

The game’s system is easy to learn and challenging, with a 2d6 system for performing actions and rolling for stats. The game offers 11 unique jobs with flexibility in how players can build and grow their characters over time. Additionally, there are over 270+ unique magical spells and item recipes, full charts for dressing characters in completely unique gear, including hats, helmets, weapons, and magical items, and a complete Dungeon and Exploration Generator, Monster Maker, and Guide to Puzzles capable of creating an adventure on the fly.

One of the game’s standout features is its fashion element, with extensive lists for creating a character with a unique look. This includes hats, armor, and clothing of all types, as well as weapons and magical items complete with descriptions. Players can even start the game with an Opalescent Scythe that leaves a trail of butterflies.

Miscasting spells will never physically harm players or their allies, but it may lead to interesting and amusing consequences, such as turning fingers into snakes.

Tales from Myriad has already exceeded its initial funding goal, but the campaign still has 28 days left to go, with the campaign ending on May 18.
