Trick or Treat Studios has initiated a Kickstarter campaign for “House of 1000 Corpses – the GAME!”, a new tabletop game that has rapidly exceeded its funding goal. With an initial target of US$ 5,000, the campaign has raised US$ 29,039 with the support of 407 backers and still has 29 days left until it concludes on March 30.

This game, officially licensed and based on the film “House of 1000 Corpses,” is designed for 1 to 4 players who assume the roles of the Firefly family members. The gameplay focuses on capturing individuals hiding within the players’ house and delivering them to Dr. Satan before the game progresses too far. Success in the game depends on effective management of action cards and adrenaline meters, alongside strategic decision-making to avoid penalties for repeating actions.

The action system is a notable feature, designed to challenge players by penalizing them for performing the same actions in succession. This encourages diverse strategies and collaboration among players to achieve their objectives efficiently.

“House of 1000 Corpses – the GAME!” aims to provide a co-operative gameplay experience that blends strategic planning with elements from the horror genre. The game is targeted at both fans of the original film and enthusiasts of cooperative board games seeking new experiences.
