Adventure Awaits in Luke Gygax’s Okkorim: The Fate of Chentoufi Launches on Kickstarter
Luke Gygax’s independent press, Gaxx Worx, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their latest project, The Fate of Chentoufi, and it has already raised almost $22,000, far exceeding its initial goal of $1,500 with 27 days left to go. The campaign will conclude on May 4th.
The Fate of Chentoufi is a 5th edition adventure designed for a party of 4-5 characters of levels 8-9th level. It is the third and final installment in the Oculus of Senrahbah series, which takes place in the World of Okkorim, a fascinating fantasy setting created by Luke Gygax.
The adventure follows a group of adventurers on the hunt for Pelicos Red, who has vanished with an ancient artifact. However, a crisis has struck the city of Chentoufi, and the adventurers must put their search for Pelicos on hold to help the city’s inhabitants, who are suffering from a lack of potable water. As the focus of the investigation shifts to Pelicos and his hired adventurers, the trail heats up, and the players must prepare for an epic conclusion to the trilogy.
The Oculus of Senrahbah is an ancient and powerful relic that was used centuries ago by the Ydrissid Empire to control the four elements. During The Great Wrath, the Ydrissid Empire fell, and the artifacts were lost, including the Oculus. The adventure began when Pelicos hired the group to locate the Oculus, which he believed was in the possession of the Beluk-tu, or fishfolk, who were using it in worship of the dread god of the deep Kthaat.
However, after a treacherous betrayal by Pelicos, the adventurers found themselves facing the Beluk-tu and their shaman, with no sign of the Oculus. Weeks have passed, and the trail has gone cold until the crisis in Chentoufi reignites the search.
The Fate of Chentoufi promises to be an exciting and satisfying conclusion to the Oculus of Senrahbah series, with over 100 pages of information and fun in Luke’s world. The Kickstarter campaign has already exceeded its goal, but backers can still support the project and get access to exclusive rewards.
