Action-Packed Outgunned RPG Smashes Kickstarter Goal

A woman in sunglasses and a leather jacket stands confidently, surrounded by multiple hands pointing guns at her in this action-packed scene. The dramatic red backdrop adds intensity, reminiscent of the high-stakes scenarios in an Outgunned RPG on Kickstarter.

Outgunned by Two Little Mice is now on Kickstarter. With 16 days still to go, the game has already achieved an impressive $78,709 in pledges in it’s first day, smashing its original goal of $10,994.

The game is the brainchild of the ENNIE award-winning authors of Household and Broken Compass and promises to take players on a cinematic adventure, inspired by classic heist and action movies. With nods to Die Hard, James Bond, and John Wick, players take on the roles of heroes, battling against villains to save the day.

Outgunned features a Director’s Cut game mechanic, using six-sided dice to determine the outcome of risky or dangerous tasks. Players are tasked with combining equal symbols to achieve their goals, adding a unique twist to the gameplay.

But creating a character for the game is quick and easy – players simply choose a Role and a Trope, and they’re ready to start playing. With ten Roles to choose from, players can customize their character further throughout the game.

For those who want to get a taste of the game before backing the project, a free 70-page Quickstart Guide is available for download.

In addition to the corebook, the Kickstarter campaign also offers a World of Killers supplement, featuring new underworld settings, additional rules, and a new Role for heroes – the Hired Gun. The supplement also includes a ready-to-play campaign and four premade heroes.
