WizKids has announced the opening of pre-orders for their new game, Tales of the Arthurian Knights, a standalone sequel to the popular game Tales of the Arabian Nights. This new entry sets players in the world of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Set during King Arthur’s reign, players take on the roles of knights, navigating through three major periods: the Golden Age of Camelot, the Quest for the Holy Grail, and the Final Wars of Britain. The game centers around the “Book of Tales,” which directs the gameplay through thousands of possible story outcomes based on players’ choices, shaping their characters’ destinies as heroic figures, lovers, or villains.
Key interactions include meeting the Enchanted Queen and the Lost Giant, with players’ choices at these junctures significantly influencing their journey. The game’s design integrates a card system that generates unique encounters, enhancing the replayability with various scenarios and outcomes.
Pre-order information: WizKids has noted that this item is available for pre-order and will not ship until its release date, which may be subject to change.
