Warp Core Games has launched a new game on Kickstarter, Star Tycoon, which challenges players to build their own Galactic Corporation. The game is an engine-building strategy game for 1 to 6 players, where they must expand their interstellar company while navigating a central market that reacts to supply and demand.
In Star Tycoon, players will need to claim planets, build production facilities and play the market to succeed. The game also incorporates various mechanics such as engine building, set collection, supply and demand, bartering and trading, and resource management.
The central market will be the main driver of the game’s economy, and players will need to monitor it closely to make the right decisions.
The game includes a solo mode, making it accessible to players who prefer to play alone. However, it can also be played with up to six players, with each game lasting around 20 minutes per player. The recommended age for players is 13 and up.
