Warlord Games Introduces New Addition to Hail Caesar Series: The Punic Wars - TGN

Warlord Games has announced the next installment in its Epic Battles series, titled Hail Caesar Epic Battles: The Punic Wars. The game covers the historical conflicts between the Roman Republic and Carthage, including the use of war elephants, from 264 to 146 BC.

Revealed at the Salute convention and highlighted across various social media platforms, the game adaptation maintains the foundational gameplay of Rick Priestley’s original Hail Caesar but adjusted to a smaller scale. This adjustment facilitates the use of larger armies on the tabletop, enhancing the visual and tactical experience.

The Hannibal battle set, a comprehensive package within this release, includes extensive forces for both historical factions, a rulebook, and an additional game titled Scipio that focuses on the Roman tactical system known as ‘manipular’ tactics.
