“Split the Hoard” Offers Fast-Paced Treasure-Hunting in New Card Game from EN Publishing
EN Publishing has launched a new project on Kickstarter: “Split the Hoard,” a competitive card game for 2-5 players. The game invites players to delve into a dragon’s hoard, where they will search for valuable treasures, negotiate with other players, and build their personal collections. The game is designed to be quick, with sessions lasting around 20 minutes, and features mechanics such as hidden victory points, set collection, and the “I cut, you choose” system.
In Split the Hoard, players take turns revealing treasure cards and strategically placing them on their boards, each treasure representing varying values of coins. Players can negotiate to claim treasures from their opponents, paying with coins from their own collection. Any remaining treasures are added to their own Haul, and the round continues. The game ends when all treasures are split, and points are scored based on public and hidden titles, along with the treasures collected during the game.
The campaign remains open until October 24.
