Rock Manor Games Announces October Launch for StarDriven: Gateway Board Game

This October Rock Manor Games is set to release StarDriven: Gateway on Gamefound. Set in a future where energy is abundant and a mysterious ancient gateway beckons, the game offers a blend of solo, cooperative, and competitive play for 1-4 players.

StarDriven: Gateway is crafted by designers Todd Walsh of the Set a Watch series and Mike Gnade, known for Maximum Apocalypse and Lawyer Up. The concept was born during a drive to the Origins Expo, and the game has been in development for over five years. This board game is the first in a planned series of three that will explore the StarDriven universe.

To coincide with the launch, Rock Manor Games has released a lively animated video styled after Saturday Morning cartoons, which can be viewed on YouTube.

The gameplay in StarDriven: Gateway revolves around managing a starship and its crew, where each member brings unique skills and abilities to their roles. Players are tasked with assigning crew to various stations aboard the ship, managing resources like power and shields, and navigating a galaxy filled with missions, anomalies, and hostile factions.

The Gamefound campaign offers backers a chance to secure exclusive rewards such as an expansion pack with additional scenarios and a deluxe version that includes upgraded components and a new cooperative scenario against the Nautiloid Dreadnought.
