Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults Breaks Ground on Kickstarter with First-of-its-kind Hack & Slash ARPG Adventure

The game studio BKOM Studios announced its Kickstarter campaign for their new game, Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults. This news comes as a boon to fans of the world-famous Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, as they now have a chance to be part of the creation of the first-ever co-op Hack and Slash ARPG based on the epic Pathfinder Adventure Path.

Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults is an online and local co-op, action RPG, and dungeon crawler game set to release on PC via Steam. The campaign has already garnered support from 2,734 backers, pledging a total of $178,245 out of the $302,243 goal, with 28 days still to go before the campaign ends on June 30.

In the game, players will lead up to four iconic Pathfinder heroes: Amiri the Barbarian, Harsk the Ranger, Kyra the Cleric, and Ezren the Wizard. These champions will delve into the deepest depths of Gauntlight Keep to battle deadly monsters and abominations in order to stop the evil sorceress Belcorra Haruvex and end her wicked plans once and for all.

To provide players with an immersive gaming experience, the Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults features several distinct biomes, each one offering new challenges and monsters for players to overcome. Every character comes with an arsenal of powerful moves they can strategically use to impact their environment. Additionally, the game provides a worthwhile replayability factor with many possibilities, including new loadouts with different characters, abilities, passives, and powers.

Furthermore, the Kickstarter campaign isn’t just about raising funds. The team at BKOM Studios is excited to actively engage with players through their social media channels, share progress updates, provide exclusive sneak peeks of the game, and give back to the community with collective in-game rewards.

The creators have also added a unique twist with ‘Social Goals’. Each attained goal is worth one point, with rewards unlocked every 5 points. By joining the studio’s Discord, and following their social media accounts, backers can increase the chance of unlocking all these additional features and rewards.

BKOM Studios has a reputation for developing engaging games, and Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults seems set to follow in these successful footsteps. Backers and fans alike eagerly await its release as they delve into a universe filled with mystery, magic, and a rich tapestry of narrative elements that bring the Pathfinder universe to life.
