Mycelium: A Mushling Game Up On Kickstarter

Mushrooms don’t have roots like plants do. They have things called mycelium, which they use to gain nutrients. And that’s exactly what you’ll be doing in Mycelium: A Mushling Game. Using your Mushling helpers, spread out your mycelium in order to get nutrients faster than the other mushroom colonies. The game is up on Kickstarter now.

From the campaign:

In Mycelium: A Mushling Game, you will lead a colony of adorable fungal creatures called Mushlings! You will be competing with up to 3 other Mushling Colonies to be the first to gather 10 Nutrients. Expand your mycelium network across the forest and place your Gatherer Mushlings to bring Nutrients and resources back to your home! But you can’t do it alone… You’ll need to recruit the help of versatile Mushling Cards to defend your network and control the fate of the forest!

Mycelium: A Mushling Game always makes you think at least 1 turn ahead! Gatherer Mushlings are placed at the end of each of your turns, and return home on your next turn. Therefore, you must predict where Nutrients will appear and plan accordingly. Be sure to hold on to some Mushling Cards to defend your position from other players, and deploy powerful reaction abilities even when it is not your turn! Manage your hand of Mushling Cards, study their behaviors, and try to use them to their full potential.

The campaign’s over 3x funded with 20 days left to go.
