Mox Boarding House Expands to Chandler with a New Blend of Tabletop Games and Gastronomy

Mox Boarding House, known for its combination as a tabletop game store and restaurant, announces the grand opening of its newest location in Chandler, Arizona. The event is scheduled for the weekend of September 20th to 22nd, starting with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 20th, featuring Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke.

Located at 1371 N Alma School Rd, this new venue marks the fourth location for the Mox Boarding House, joining the existing locations in Seattle, Bellevue, and Portland.

Jorel Miller, Vice President of Mox Boarding House, commented on the expansion, saying;

“We’ve been working on this project since 2021, and we’re so excited to open our doors and welcome the Chandler community. Our goal has always been to create a space where people can come together to play, eat, and enjoy themselves. We can’t wait to share this experience with our new neighbors.”

The Chandler venue combines dining and gaming in a unique setting. Guests can enjoy a menu featuring gastro-style dishes, including the popular Tavern Mac, and a variety of beverages from the full-service bar. The restaurant has seating for 86 guests and offers options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets.

In addition to dining, the location boasts a vast library of board games available for free play, with thousands more for purchase. The store includes popular titles such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon, Warhammer, and Magic: The Gathering. The Chandler location also features an event hall with seating for up to 64 people, suitable for hosting gaming events.

The opening weekend will include activities such as the MTG Duskmourn Prerelease on Saturday, September 21st, and opportunities to win prizes. Exclusive in-store promotions and discounts will be offered during the grand opening.
