Modiphius Entertainment has announced their latest creation, Dreams and Machines, a far future world that promises danger, excitement, and optimism. Set on a far-flung planet cut off from Earth, Evera Prime is a world left in ruins after a war with destructive mechs known as Wakers. The RPG starter set will be playable straight out of the box at Gen Con in August 2023.
Chris Birch, the creator of this original setting, has assembled a diverse team of creators to bring Evera Prime to life. In Dreams and Machines, players can scavenge advanced technology from abandoned facilities and megacities to forge a new life, help their community, and stop Wakers from rising and rampaging across Evera’s surface. Players can choose to play as Archivists, Dreamers, or Spears, and rebuild the world in their own way.
As the danger grows and the world comes under threat once more, players will need to protect those they know and love from the machinations of a malevolent corrupted AI known only as the Builder.
Modiphius Entertainment is known for its success with Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms. Dreams and Machines will follow in the same vein, with a fully-supported roleplaying game line and a miniature skirmish game to be released later.
