Limithron to Set Sail with “Down Among the Dead” Kickstarter, Expanding the Pirate Borg Universe on September 17th

Limithron, creator of the acclaimed Pirate Borg RPG, is launching a new Kickstarter campaign titled “Down Among the Dead” on September 17th. The campaign is aiming to enrich Pirate Borg and 5E gameplay with new expansions and accessories.

The Kickstarter will introduce the Pirate Borg Starter Set and an adventure anthology titled “Down Among the Dead.” Also featured is “Cabin Fever,” a supplement that showcases third-party contributions, alongside various naval combat accessories and gaming tools such as dice and a GM screen.

A video game case titled "Chain Gang" beckons with a Limithron-inspired cover featuring a menacing, fiery creature with fangs. The rustic background, complete with wooden wheels, is ablaze in colorful flames of purple, red, and orange—a bold nod to its Kickstarter origins.

Early backers of the Kickstarter will have the opportunity to receive special bonuses if they pledge within the first 48 hours, including a unique patch and a new digital supplement. The campaign also ensures that virtual tabletop players are not left out, with full support planned for Alchemy, Roll20, and Foundry platforms.

As the campaign’s products are set to be delivered by Q3 2025, backers have a substantial addition to their gaming calendars to look forward to. Those interested in participating are encouraged to sign up for notifications to catch early bird rewards and updates.
