“Good Dog, Bad Zombie” Second Edition Launches on Kickstarter

The TESA Collective has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the second edition of the cooperative board game “Good Dog, Bad Zombie.” This game, which features dogs as the protagonists in a zombie-infested city, was first released in 2018 and quickly gained popularity. Due to high demand, this new edition includes upgraded components, fresh artwork, additional playable dogs, and a new expansion called the Puppy Pack.

In “Good Dog, Bad Zombie,” players work together to rescue humans from a zombie apocalypse, using unique abilities such as Snuggle, Protect, Play, and Make Trouble. The game is set in Central Bark, where players must navigate to save their humans while avoiding zombies. A standout feature of the campaign is the ability for backers to have their own dogs featured in the game by pledging at specific levels that offer customized character cards of their pets.

A portion of the proceeds from the game will benefit the One Tail at a Time animal rescue shelter, continuing a partnership that began with the game’s first edition. This collaboration helps provide essential items such as cozy blankets, nutritious food, and medical supplies to homeless dogs.

The Kickstarter campaign, which launched on May 14, has already raised over $49,000 from more than 600 backers. The campaign is set to end on June 6. As of now, $52,999 has been pledged towards a goal of $13,500 with 15 days remaining.
