Games Workshop returns with another edition of Heresy Thursday. This week, the spotlight shines on a brand-new plastic miniature for the Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titan, adding a fearsome weapon to the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis arsenal.

The Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titan, previously only available in resin, is now ready for the tabletop in its new plastic iteration. Known for its intimidating presence and tactical abilities, the Dire Wolf is renowned for its ability to ambush Reavers and Warlords in Adeptus Titanicus games. Similarly, it’s poised to be a devastating force in Legions Imperialis, where its targets will primarily be tiny tank columns.

The new plastic kit comes equipped with an array of potent weapons. On its carapace, players can mount either a volcano cannon, known for its explosive firepower, a punchy neutron laser, or a conversion beam dissipator, depending on the strategy of choice.

In addition to its main weaponry, the Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titan also sports two Ardex mega-bolters. These massive rapid-fire weapons are capable of unleashing a salvo of mass-reactive bolts, making the Dire Wolf a formidable adversary on the battlefield.

As for the rules of engagement for this Titan, players can find them in the main Legions Imperialis rulebook. Each box of the new plastic kit includes a pair of Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titans, matching the number found in regular Warhound boxes. Notably, these models can be used in both Adeptus Titanicus and Legions Imperialis games, offering flexibility for Warhammer enthusiasts.
