Free League Publishing Sets Release Date for Ruins of Symbaroum 5E Expansions
Free League Publishing has announced the upcoming release of two expansions for Ruins of Symbaroum 5E, set for April 30. These expansions aim to enhance the gameplay and narrative depth of the popular dark fantasy role-playing game, Symbaroum.
The first of the expansions, The Throne of Thorns Part I, is a campaign book that includes the first two chapters of the adventure series known as The Throne of Thorns. The chapters, titled “Wrath of the Warden” and “The Witch Hammer,” expand the game’s storyline and introduce new maps, character stat blocks, and event handouts designed to enhance the players’ experience in the Davokar Forest.
The World of Symbaroum expansion provides a deeper look into the game’s setting, exploring the ancient history, cultures, and conflicts of Symbaroum. It offers detailed insights into major settlements like Thistle Hold, Yndaros, and Karvosti and includes a variety of plot hooks and secrets for Gamemasters to use in crafting engaging game sessions.
Both expansions are currently available for pre-order through the Free League webstore. Customers who pre-order can immediately access PDF versions of the expansions, though full enjoyment of these additions requires the Ruins of Symbaroum core books: the Player’s Guide, Gamemaster’s Guide, and Bestiary.
