Firelock Games Announces Resin Miniatures Range Expansion and Upcoming “Port Royal” Game
Firelock Games has updated its product line to include a full range of miniatures now available in resin. This update encompasses Europeans and Accessories, enhancing the collection’s durability and detail. Notably, the European Pikemen will receive a re-sculpt later this year, but until then, enthusiasts can explore the rest of the range in both resin and metal options, catering to various preferences.
For those interested in viewing these new additions, Firelock Games has made them accessible through their New Resin Miniatures Store Page.
Further expanding its offerings, Firelock Games is set to launch “Port Royal,” a new game drawing inspiration from the historical 1692 earthquake in Jamaica. “Port Royal” is designed as a campaign-based tactical skirmish wargame, where players lead factions such as pirates, privateers, Native Americans, African Maroons, or local government forces in the quest for treasure amidst the ruins of the once-prosperous city.
“Port Royal” emphasizes ease of play and quick learning, offering players a mix of strategic gameplay rooted in a historical context. The game encourages tactical thinking and adaptability, with players navigating through various in-game challenges to secure loot and build their reputation.
With the Kickstarter for “Port Royal” expected to launch this spring, Firelock Games has also created a Port Royal Gamer Group for enthusiasts to join and stay informed on the game’s progress.
In addition to these announcements, Firelock Games continues its promotion of the “Blackbeard vs Maynard” Blood & Plunder starter set, priced at $99. This set aims to provide an accessible entry point into the Blood & Plunder series, featuring two sloops, crews, including Blackbeard and Lieutenant Maynard, a full rulebook, and other game essentials.
Moreover, Firelock Games is offering an exclusive Blunder Monkey statue for all orders over $99. This detailed resin model is intended as an attractive addition for collectors and gamers, enriching the tabletop gaming experience.
