Yubi’s Adventures has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their latest project, “Sentima: Sundered Wilds,” a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) centered around crafting and survival.
“Sentima: Sundered Wilds” introduces players to a world teeming with insectoid tribes and monstrous behemoths. The game departs from traditional class-based systems, instead opting for classless characters and progression through crafting and equipment.
The game’s rules concentrate on the explorers’ survival in a vast wilderness, emphasizing exploration, combat, weather, research, gathering, and crafting. This gives a refreshing take on TTRPGs, emphasizing survival and exploration alongside combat.
Unique to “Sentima: Sundered Wilds” is the role of the Trail Guide, who shapes the tone of the story with color-coded adventures and tailored rulesets. By employing red rules for combat, blue for horror, yellow for adventure, and green for survival, the Trail Guide can easily adjust the narrative and mechanical focus of the game.
This RPG promises a sense of wonder and looming danger for players, fostering a desire to explore this untamed, unknown world. Trail Guides will find a fast, light system with an emphasis on more than just combat, featuring both stock content and easily modifiable items, enemies, and landmarks.
The game provides a wealth of unique experiences for players. They can choose from 12 playable Tribes, each with three different professions. Other exciting features include the opportunity to build, crew, and sail their own airship, explore energy-warped ecosystems, and battle hostile locals and a variety of monstrously mutated creatures and behemoths. The game also allows players to collect energy to use as boosts and navigate through raging energy storms that change daily.
