Eldritch Foundry Announces Launch of “Prism™” Color Engine on Kickstarter

Eldritch Foundry is preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign soon to introduce its new “Prism™” color engine, which will enhance miniature customization with full-color printing options.

The Prism color engine incorporates polyjet 3D printing technology, enabling users to design their miniatures with a detailed color scheme through Eldritch Foundry’s digital tool. This technology promises to deliver a physical miniature that closely replicates the user’s digital design, including intricate paint effects.

This new feature aims to replicate traditional miniature painting techniques such as drybrushing, wet-blending, washes, and shading within the digital design platform. Matan Gilat, the CEO of Eldritch Foundry, expressed enthusiasm about integrating a digital approach to miniature painting;

“I’ve been a miniature painting enthusiast since middle-school and being able to bring that mindset into the digital world for Eldritch Foundry is incredibly exciting for me.”

Earlier this year, Eldritch Foundry upgraded its user interface, setting the stage for the integration of the “Prism™” color engine, which will offer a wide range of colors at its inception. This allows for detailed customization of miniatures, including specific body parts and complex details like eyes and shaded areas.

The Kickstarter campaign will also seek funds to expand the range of tools available in the character creator, including new textures, brush styles, and additional digital painting techniques. These upgrades will be contingent on reaching stretch goals through backer support.

Interested parties can sign up to receive notifications about the campaign’s launch on the Kickstarter Page or head over the the official website for more information about Eldritch Foundry.
