Elderbrain has announced the release of its new adventure module, “Torrents of the Spellhoarder”. This 300-page hardcover book, designed for D&D 5e, offers a comprehensive campaign setting and adventure module, enriched with a variety of player options.

The adventure module, primarily based on feedback from the Elderbrain community, can be played as a sequel to the “Crown of the Oathbreaker” campaign or as an independent adventure. It includes an extensive range of new content, such as monsters, encounter maps, subclasses, feats, spells, and magic items, catering to a wide spectrum of D&D players.

“Torrents of the Spellhoarder” is set in a seafaring and exploration sandbox, featuring over twenty dungeon maps and a regional map that highlights 100 locations. The narrative takes 15th-level characters on an exploration journey through the Calhay Sea, around the Isles of Xantharos, and above the submerged Kingdom of A’rvanshy.

Elderbrain has emphasized the role of its community in shaping the content of this module. The development of the adventure and campaign setting was influenced by the preferences and feedback of D&D fans, gathered through surveys. This community-centric approach extends to the finer details of the story and setting, which are continuously refined through interactions on Elderbrain’s Discord server.

An interesting aspect of the module is its inclusion of 100 non-player characters (NPCs), complete with detailed locations and portraits. These portraits are based on actual photos of members from the Elderbrain community, adding a unique personal touch to the adventure.

The book is currently being prepared for distribution, with crates being packed for delivery to the fulfillment center. Elderbrain aims to have “Torrents of the Spellhoarder” available to customers by March.
