DV Games has recently shared news about the upcoming release of two new board games, set to hit the shelves in April 2024. The titles, “Alibi – 3 Intricate Mysteries” and “BANG! Legends,” are designed to cater to fans of mystery-solving and Western-themed games, respectively.

Alibi

“Alibi – 3 Intricate Mysteries” is a game centered around the concept of murder mystery dinner parties. Developed by Antonello Lotronto, with artwork from Alessandro Manzella, Martin Mottet, and Emanuele Desiati, the game is priced at $34.99. It features three separate cases, each designed to last about an hour: “Murder on the Nile,” “A Dish to Die For,” and “Blood on the Tartan.” Players take on the roles of main suspects in a murder, with the twist that the identity of the murderer is unknown to all, including the player who is the murderer, until the game’s conclusion. The objective is to deduce who among them is guilty by piecing together the story via dialogues, subplots, and secrets revealed through game cards.

BANG! Legends

“BANG! Legends,” an expansion for the popular “BANG!” card game, is authored by Emiliano Sciarra with artwork by Cristiana Leone and Alessandro Pierangelini. It is priced at $19.99. This expansion introduces a new gameplay element with extra-large cards, new feats, and detailed illustrations that depict the evolution of characters from the original game into legends of the Wild West. The game focuses on players belonging to the Law, Outlaw, or Renegade factions and includes a new mechanism involving wooden Fame counters. These counters play a crucial role in the game, as accumulating fame allows players to reveal and utilize their characters’ legendary abilities.
