Through a newly released campaign, you can now immortalize yourself as a non-player character (NPC) in their upcoming offerings, ‘Torrents of the Spellhoarder’ and ‘Deck of the Hive Mind’. Only 14 NPC slots remain, so it’s time to act fast!
Once you secure your place as an NPC, you’ll have the chance to customize the character to your liking. You can specify your character’s name, background, race/class, and even the role they will play in the story. Alternatively, if you’d prefer, you can select from a list of NPCs who already have a designated role in the ‘Torrents of the Spellhoarder’ adventure and campaign setting.
Your NPC portrait, based on your likeness, will also be featured as a card in Elderbrain’s ‘Deck of the Hive Mind’ (formerly known as the NPC Crowd Deck). This unique deck contains a collection of all 300 NPCs and can be used for any adventure when a Dungeon Master needs a quick NPC portrait.
Elderbrain will personally reach out to each participant via email to discuss the specifics of your character and to request a portrait photo for use in the game’s illustration.
Elderbrain is at the moment providing the opportunity to pre-order all ‘Torrents of the Spellhoarder’ and ‘Crown of the Oathbreaker’ Kickstarter-exclusive rewards via their Backerkit page. The pre-orders will remain open until the end of summer, giving you just a few months to secure these limited products. These include the adventure accessory boxes filled with a variety of goodies and Deluxe hardcover copies of the games.
