The 2025 Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual Released, Completing Revised Core Rulebook Trilogy

The 2025 Monster Manual, the final installment in the revised Dungeons & Dragons core rulebook trilogy, has officially been released. This release follows the 2024 Player’s Handbook and the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide, rounding out the updated set of essential resources for fifth-edition gameplay.

The 2025 Monster Manual includes 85 new monsters and a total of over 500 monsters, each accompanied by detailed illustrations, including a striking cover by artist Tyler Jacobson depicting a green-eyed beholder facing off against Minsc and Boo.

The revised core rulebooks have proven highly popular, with reprints already underway to meet demand.
