Green Ronin Publishing Releases Fantasy AGE Cthulhu Mythos
Green Ronin Publishing has launched Fantasy AGE Cthulhu Mythos, a new supplement for its Fantasy AGE roleplaying system. This release builds on the deep connection between H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos and fantasy gaming, which has influenced Green Ronin since its first adventure, Death in Freeport. Earlier this year, the publisher also introduced Cthulhu Awakens, a modern horror RPG that explores the “Weird Century,” a period marked by the rise of the Cthulhu Mythos.
Fantasy AGE Cthulhu Mythos allows Game Masters and players to incorporate Lovecraftian horror into their fantasy campaigns. It introduces new character options, including ancestries and specializations, as well as mechanics designed to capture the eerie and unsettling nature of the Mythos. The supplement also expands on Fantasy AGE’s existing systems by adding rules for alienation, fear, and eldritch sorcery, offering Game Masters more tools to craft Mythos-themed adventures.
The book provides guidance for integrating the Cthulhu Mythos into a fantasy setting, offering insights into how to transform traditional fantasy monsters into Mythos creatures. In addition, it features rules for exploring the Dreamlands, a realm central to Lovecraftian lore, and offers a detailed ritual magic system.
Fantasy AGE Cthulhu Mythos is now available for purchase at the Green Ronin Online Store and DriveThruRPG.
