Games Workshop Opens Pre-orders for New Kill Team Starter Set, Models, and Black Library Releases

Games Workshop has announced pre-orders for a range of new releases, including a Kill Team starter set, several specialized kill teams, standalone miniatures, and publications from Black Library.

The Kill Team: Starter Set includes two kill teams—Angels of Death and Plague Marines—each with seven detailed push-fit operatives. The set also offers full-color MDF terrain, a 64-page handbook covering gameplay and background lore, a double-sided game board, tokens, and range rulers, making it suited for players looking to dive into the latest edition of Kill Team.

Additional pre-orders feature individual kill teams with unique designs and accessories. These include the Kasrkin team from Astra Militarum, Phobos Strike Team Space Marines, Chaos Space Marine Legionaries, and T’au Empire Pathfinders. Each kill team set includes customized tokens and miniature decals, with optional datacards available to streamline gameplay. Datacards are also available online via Warhammer Community and the Kill Team app.

New standalone miniatures include the Chaos Lord, a Chaos Lord with Jump Pack, and Inquisitor Torquemada Coteaz, each adding distinct thematic elements to the battlefield.

Alongside, Black Library releases include Broken Crusade by Steven B Fischer, available in multiple formats including a special edition. Da Big Dakka by Mike Brooks joins the lineup in paperback, along with the Warhammer 40,000 Horror Collection Volumes One and Two, both available in audiobook format.
