DV Games to Unveil New Releases at Essen Spiel 2024
DV Games has announced its participation in the upcoming Essen Spiel 2024, one of the largest board game conventions in the world, taking place from October 3rd to October 6th in Essen, Germany. Visitors can explore DV Games’ latest releases and innovations at booth 3L611.
At this year’s event, DV Games is set to premiere Rumblebots, a deck-management card game inspired by Auto Battler video games. Players assemble teams of fighting robots and compete in strategic battles. The game unfolds over six rounds, during which players build and battle their robot teams in a fight for crystals that power their workshops. The game includes 49 unique Bots, with additional content available in the Reinforcements pack, designed to enhance gameplay by offering new strategies and options. Both English and German versions of Rumblebots will be available for purchase at the event.
Alongside Rumblebots, DV Games will be presenting other new titles, including BANG! Dice Explosion, a deluxe version of the popular BANG! The Dice Game, and Lost in Adventure: The Labyrinth, a cooperative narrative game inspired by point-and-click adventures. Another notable release is Until Proven Guilty: The Starry Sky Necklace, a courtroom-themed game where players assume the role of a lawyer navigating complex criminal trials. DV Games will also showcase expansions for Bonsai, including Wabi Sabi and a special Wooden Tiles add-on.
Throughout the convention, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live demonstrations of DV Games’ newest titles. Special events are also planned, such as meet-and-greet sessions with Rumblebots designer Michele Piccolini, where visitors can learn about the game’s development and strategy.
DV Games is offering exclusive convention deals, including limited-time offers on game bundles and mini-expansions. Attendees who purchase Rumblebots will receive the Reinforcements mini-expansion for free, and buyers of Until Proven Guilty will receive a complimentary copy of Similo: Board Games’24, while supplies last.
