Beadle & Grimm’s Announces Candela Obscura: Horrors of the Fairelands Premium Edition

Beadle & Grimm’s has announced a collaboration with Critical Role‘s publishing division, Darrington Press, to release a Premium Edition of Candela Obscura. This special edition, titled Horrors of the Fairelands, is designed for Game Masters looking to bring an immersive experience to their Candela Obscura campaigns.

The Horrors of the Fairelands adventure book offers eight new assignments spread across 216 pages. The adventures are built to evoke suspense and challenge players as they navigate the unsettling world of Candela Obscura. True to Beadle & Grimm’s style, the Premium Edition will feature a range of physical components. This includes a hardcover edition of the book, large-scale regional maps, and a custom Game Master screen to aid in running the sessions. In addition, the set contains several in-world handouts and metal props that support the storyline, as well as art cards that offer visual and reference material for GMs.

Pre-orders for the Premium Edition are available now at a price of $200, with the release expected in February 2025. A standalone version of the Horrors of the Fairelands adventure book will also be made available for purchase at that time.
