Battle Babies Deckbuilding Game Up On Kickstarter

The "Battle Babies" card game cover bursts with color, showcasing cartoon baby characters in diverse costumes, like a firefighter and pirate. Highlighted against a vibrant red background, the game's Kickstarter spotlight reveals its exciting deckbuilding elements through the box and illustrated cards.

You know, with so many games coming across my screen all the time, I often feel like every set-up for a game has been done and done to death. Well, I can say that I’ve not seen a game (at least that I can remember) where you are collecting different types of weird babies to have them fight against one-another. However, that’s what you’re doing in Battle Babies, a new deck-building game that’s up on Kickstarter now.

From the campaign:

Ever wondered what babies were up to when others are not around? Locked in the never-ending cosmic battle for ultimate baby power of course!

In Battle Babies, you take part in the never-ending baby war, where you command your own army of babies. The Villain, Special, Warrior, and Ugly babies were factions born from the early days of the great baby war. Take down each army one by one. Create temporary alliances. Then double-cross those alliances. Trust no one and eliminate all. From humble beginnings, take your shrimp sized army and expand it to a forceful empire.

Battle Babies is a wacky deckbuilding strategy card game, where you build an army of zany baby characters. There are enough variety of babies for everyone to enjoy with a total of 46 unique babies! This is a 2-4 player card game, and takes about 60 minutes to play.

The campaign’s closing in on 1/2 funded with 27 days left to go.
