Many of you probably played or at least heard of the MERCS miniatures game line. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about it. So, what happened to it? Well, it’d being revived by Fifth Angel Studios. They’ve acquired the rights to all the MERCS properties and will be coming out with new products soon.

Fifth Angel Studios acquires MERCS
Fifth Angel Studios is excited to announce it has acquired all rights and materials relating to the MERCS IP and all associated properties, including MERCS Miniatures, MERCS RECON and MERCS Conflict, from the founder of MegaCon Games, Brian Shotton.
MERCS was created by Brian Shotton, Keith Lowe and Tom Mason the team behind MegaCon Games.
“Brian and the MegaCon team did a fantastic job of creating a wonderful and immersive IP with a series of games and stories that we are excited to expand upon. I’m really looking forward to bringing MERCS back to the tabletop and pushing the line into the future.” stated Derek Osborne co-founder of Fifth Angel Studios.
What’s on the mission log for MERCS?
Starting early 2021, products in the current MERCS 2.0 range will be available to players and fans through their favorite retailers as well as directly from the Fifth Angel Studios website. Fifth Angel Studios is committed to producing an exciting new range of miniatures to support the growth of the various MERCS lines. These will build on the established releases as well as introduce new narrative and competitive gaming opportunities for this compelling setting. Fifth Angel Studios is investing in all aspects of the design, development and supply of the game.
Fifth Angel Studios are also planning in-store organized play support for MERCS Miniatures as well as a range of exciting events planned throughout 2021 and beyond.
