Osprey Games is set to release a new role-playing game this September, titled “Through The Hedgerow: A Roleplaying Game of Rustic Fantasy.” This game invites players to explore a fantastical version of the countryside, where hidden paths lead to adventures across different eras.

“Through The Hedgerow” encourages players to imagine venturing down a neglected lane, only to discover a world filled with ancient stones, mythical creatures, and echoes of past lives. This exploration is not just a physical journey but a voyage across centuries, where the familiar landscape of the countryside transforms into a backdrop for historical and mythical narratives.

A scenic view of a medieval village with stone and wood houses surrounded by lush green fields, reminiscent of a scene from an Osprey Games role-playing game. A river meanders through the countryside, with a distant church or castle atop a hill under a cloudy sky.

Players will encounter diverse scenarios within the game, such as navigating through fields influenced by dark medieval times or interacting with mystical figures from folklore. The game blends elements of historical events with fantastical myths.

In a dark, mystical scene reminiscent of a role-playing game, a central figure draped in black feathers wields a staff. Warriors with shields and helmets stand guard, while ominous figures loom in the background. Bare trees and crows accentuate the haunting atmosphere beneath the cloudy sky.

The game will be available in the UK on September 26 and in the US on September 24. Head over to the Osprey blog to learn more about the game from its creator, Jonathan Rowe.
