Steamforged Games and Kobold Press Introduce Tales of the Valiant Starter Set

Kobold Press has announced the release of the Tales of the Valiant Starter Set, a comprehensive introduction to tabletop roleplaying games. Designed for those new to the hobby, the set provides a structured and accessible way to learn the basics of roleplaying.

The starter set is built around the Tales of the Valiant universe, a high-fantasy setting that invites participants to explore a world of magic, heroism, and danger. Whether taking on the role of a legendary hero or guiding the story as the Game Master, players are encouraged to immerse themselves in tales of epic battles, daring escapes, and unexpected triumphs.

Rather than relying on the traditional 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons system, the set utilizes Kobold Press’s Black Flag Roleplaying Rules.

This starter set emphasizes making roleplaying games approachable and intuitive, focusing on teaching fundamental skills through engaging and easy-to-follow adventures.
