Risk 2210 A.D. Frontline Expansion Brings Mars Battles and New Challenges
Renegade Game Studios has announced the upcoming release of the Risk 2210 A.D. Frontline Expansion, which is now available for pre-order with a planned release in January 2025. This expansion builds on the futuristic warfare of Risk 2210 A.D., introducing new challenges and strategic possibilities as the battlefield moves beyond Earth to a newly terraformed Mars.
The Frontline Expansion brings together four gameplay modules originally created as exclusive Tournament prizes in 2003, making them widely available for the first time. These modules introduce fresh elements that enhance the core game, including interplanetary combat, advanced technology, and the addition of asymmetric faction play. Players will also face an unexpected twist with the introduction of giant amoebas as a new threat, adding a unique layer to the conflict.
The expansion also introduces updated components, such as Tech Commander miniatures and a 20-card deck that further deepens tactical options. With these additions, players can explore innovative ways to approach the game while revisiting classic elements from the original Frontline Tournament program.
Risk 2210 A.D. Frontline is not a standalone product and requires a copy of Risk 2210 A.D. to play. Pre-orders are currently open, offering fans the opportunity to expand their strategic battles when the expansion launches in early 2025.
