Then mark your calendars for Beginner Box Days, a week-long event starting on April 22, 2023, where players and Game Masters will be gathering to play through the Pathfinder Beginner Box adventure: “Menace Under Otari.”
The Beginner Box is an excellent introduction to Pathfinder gameplay, designed to guide new players through combat, exploration, skills, and puzzles. The upper level teaches the basics of gameplay, while the lower dungeon puts players in advanced practice.
To participate, interested players can sign up on the Beginner Box Days website at BeginPF2.com, and join the r/Pathfinder2e Discord channel to connect with their Game Master and other players. Organizers will use Discord to communicate updates and host virtual playrooms throughout the week.
For those interested in becoming a Game Master, Beginner Box Days is a perfect opportunity to try out the role. GMs can register their sessions until April 17 by going to RPGChronicles.net, creating an event, and selecting the Beginner Box Upper or Lower level, or both. GMs can also choose any number of virtual platforms to run on, including Fantasy Grounds, Roll20, or the deluxe Foundry VTT module. Additionally, GMs can receive a free PDF of the Beginner Box when they sign up on the website by April 17 on the GM Info page.
