Necromunda Gets a Gang Overhaul with New Escher & Goliath Pre-Orders

ByDaniel Kling Lorentsen September 7, 2026September 7, 2026

Games Workshop is loading up the Underhive this weekend with a fresh wave of Necromunda pre-orders, bringing new elite units, bosses, pets, and rulebooks for House Goliath and House Escher.

On the miniatures front, you’ve got:

  • Goliath Forge Smelters – heavy-hitting elites for the muscle-bound house
  • Escher Blades of the Matriarch – deadly sword-wielding specialists
  • Goliath Forge Bosses & Sumpkrocs – hulking leaders with reptilian pets
  • Escher Gang Matriarchs & Phyrr Cats – vicious leaders with feral feline companions

But that’s just the start. Two new Underhive Journals drop alongside the minis—Goliath: The House of Chains and Escher: The House of Blades—packed with new rules, skills, and gang-building options. There are also gang-specific card packs and dice for both houses to keep your games organized and on-brand.

Also up for pre-order:

  • White Dwarf Issue 528 – Ogor Mawtribes deep dive, battle report, and hobby guides
  • Black Library – Blackheart: Claws of the Maelstrom (standard and special edition, the latter dropping Sept 9 at 3pm UK), Voice of Command, plus French and German editions of The Relentless Dead and a French Apostle
